Sven van de Riet behandeld vanuit een breed (global) spectrum offshoring, nearshoring en outsourcing en discussieert met diverse partijen die outsourcen (o.a. lage loon landen en emerging markets) Wat zijn de voor- en nadelen? Wat betekent een dergelijke uitbesteding voor de IT (dienstverlener & klantorganisaties) in Nederland en hoe raakt dit de nederlandse markt. Zijn er effecten en trends te benoemen? Hoe conjunctuur gedreven is outsourcing? Of hoe verhoudt zich nearshoring of offshoring van IT dienstverlening zich tot andere marktsegmenten?

Sven van de Riet brengt met de jaarlijkse Outsourcing Performance-studie duidelijkheid over hoe IT-leveranciers er voor staan vanuit het perspectief van hun klanten. De uitkomsten worden aangevuld met kwalitatieve interviews zodat een goed beeld ontstaat wat er speelt en waarom klanten al dan niet te spreken zijn over het geoutsourcede werk.

How to turn around of a ‘Dutch IT organisation’ in a ‘Global IT team’ with strong focus on quality of service and user satisfaction? In the last five years the IT organisation of RE made a change from a domestic IT organisation with a strong process focus to a first in class global IT supplier with flexible IT solutions and a high user satisfaction. To ensure an efficient and effective global infrastructure delivery, ING Investment management is merging 24 country IT platforms to 1 global IT platform. To ensure an alignment with the client an Information Management Office, with information management, business analysis, a project management, has been implemented in 2007.

Uw spreker

Albert is currently Global CIO for ING RE. He started this assignment three years ago and turned around a “Dutch IT organization” in a “Global IT team” with international staff. In this period the user satisfaction increased from 5.8 to 7.3 and the ING RE IT team achieved a 3.1 score for CMMI. Currently the IT team of RE is expanding their scope to include ING International Investment Management. From 2003-2006 Albert worked in the UK as manager IT Projects & Architecture to implement a global infrastructure and application landscape for TNT Express. In his career Albert has also been head of a global IT Audit department and project manager for a major outsource program.
